This January full moon was a real treat. Cold weather and north winds have helped clear up the Lagoon. Fishing has predictably busted out. Over the three days from 1/21 to 1/23, we whacked 'em pretty good. Had four guys with me on Monday, only one on Tuesday/Wednesday. Totals for the three days were approximatley 150 fish, 40 trout over 25, 22 over 27 and 12 over 7 pounds. Longest fish ranged to 29 3/4 inches, heaviest to 8 3/4 pounds. I had 5 over 7 pounds myself on Wednesday. Dark Corkies took almost all the fish. Who said the fishing on the day of and day after the full moon is tough? Whatever!
