On the calmer days lately, it's like fishing in an aquarium. All over the area, the water is as clear as I've ever seen it, just pristine. Sight casting opportunities abound on the calmer days, as long as it's not slick as glass. Still catching some big fish and lots of fish, unless the wind is cranking. Yesterday, had at least 125 trout, probably half keepers. Biggest was 28 inches. Lost three other big ones and saw a couple more, including one at least 30 inches, that I spooked before I had a chance to cast to it. The summer fishing shapes up incredibly as long as this water stays so clear. Makes for the optimal learning situation, in terms of seeing what's at the spot and how to work the structures.
