Recent trips have revealed an improved attitude in the fish. Had a couple of 27 inch fish and two other 4-5 pounders on one outing. All hit pink or pink/pearl Fat Boys. Numbers bite is still somewhat slow, but also improving. Had maybe 25 or 30 bites on my own pole one day, again mostly on Corkies, but a few hit topwaters too, and an old 51Mirrolure I dug out of a box somewhere. Water is pretty in some places, still mucky further south. As water temps continue to drop, the chances for numbers of big trout will rise.
On a side note, we had to change the way this page was run, so we lost the old reports. Have to fight to keep hackers out!
